| Then followed two weeks of dark and cloudy weather, which made it quite hard to make good pictures. The kittens were born in a room upstairs, but to get them in touch with house hold sounds, they would be better off in the living room, so they moved downstairs at the age of 6 weeks. I wondered how they would take it. I made a safe place in a big carton box with their own carrier and thick blanket, and lots of fun things to play with, and put them in there. I had hardly turned my back or they climbed out of the box and started to explore the living room with their little tails high up in the air. | |

| Of course all these
experiences made them very tired and they fell asleep pretty soon after
their first round. They didn't mind being put back in the large box and
even now, one week later, I often find them in or near this enclosure
playing, sleeping, nursing.... It's very funny to find that the kittens don't fear the things I think they will, and get a fright out of things I consider very normal. All in all they are pretty fearless though. Brave little cuties! |

November 4th '07, the day after Kimi (Krasnois' littermate) had left for his new home. Krasnoi seems a bit sad, lying in the scratching post, next to Sverrir.... These boys will go together to their new home. It's nice to see they are already bonding. |

Sveinn on December 1, 2007 with his nose all dirty.... Some kittens have these dirty noses more than others, but I think Sveinn is king of them all! |

scratching noises, and I got this picture of Sverrir with this distracted
look by chance.
Later that day: Sverrir in a little chair with (too?) vivid colours. He loves to withdraw from the action and just lay there. |
