| | As we got married, we had no
pets. Well... if guppies  count as such... then we did. We both were
out of the house all day and having a pet didn't seem a very good idea.
Everything changed when Mushin started to live in my parents' garden.
Because my mother never wanted cats or dogs, Mushin lived outside until we
took her home. A friend, who had two cats already, tried to have her live
with them, but since Mushin had gone hungry for quite some time, she
didn't want to share her new-found heaven, forcing the residing cats into
the garden. It soon became clear this couldn't go on, so she came to stay
with us, only until we would have found her a permanent home. We
are still looking actually........ Having Mushin changed our lives. Whoever came home first: there was always
somebody waiting! We would never sit on the couch alone: she'd be there
and sit on our lap. I had to be careful where I put down my milk, I'd not
      drink all of it.....
